The storyAccra

For a decade, Ewura Adams Karim has worked across the studio, the stage, and the field — hosting national conversations, telling stories through performance, and building institutions that reach women and young people in Ghana's communities. Media, arts, and development are not four separate careers to him. They are one practice: using the platform to move people, and moving people to change something.

Trained as a theatre artist at the University of Ghana, Ewura moved from the stage to the studio and the field — hosting national programmes, directing theatre for development, and founding organisations that put opportunity within reach of women and young people. Along the way came two Master's degrees, a place among the Obama Leaders, and a Mandela Washington Fellowship.
